Some entryways are built to be passed through. Others are built to be remembered. When Trust 46 envisioned a front door that would embody elegance, security, and craftsmanship, they came to Cedars Woodworking for a solution that would stand the test of time.
What we delivered are two bold, timeless doors that weigh nearly 380 pounds each, a seamless marriage of engineering and artisan skill.

Designed to mirror the historic transom window above the entry
- Engineered with quarter-sawn white oak stiles and rails for dimensional stability
- Clad in solid brass of varied thicknesses for rich, textural contrast
- Waterjet-cut brass grilles precisely shaped from 3/8″ thick brass sheet
- Custom bronze threshold integrated for seamless entry
- Matching solid brass hardware on interior and exterior surfaces for a unified aesthetic
These doors were more than a fabrication project. They were an exercise in honoring architectural history while integrating modern techniques. Inspired by the transom above the doorway, every component was carefully designed and fabricated in-house to achieve not only visual beauty, but long-lasting durability.
